Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) package lasagna noodles, cooked and broken into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Add the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the lasagna noodles and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses and cook until melted and combined, about 3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
