  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons Za'atar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)


  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, Za'atar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs and mix until a dough forms.
  4. If desired, add the chopped nuts and mix to combine.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape into buns.
  6. Place the buns on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
