Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • Lettuce leaves

Directions

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Form the ground beef mixture into four patties, making sure to press a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
  4. Grill or cook the burgers for 5-7 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Place the cheese slices on the burgers during the final minutes of cooking to allow them to melt.
  6. Place the burgers on the hamburger buns, top with tomato, onion, lettuce, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
