Ingredients

  • 4 ounces of dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of instant coffee powder
  • 1 tablespoon of butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder

Directions

  1. Melt the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a double-boiler.
  2. Add the cream, instant coffee powder, and butter to the melted chocolate and mix until combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
  4. Once the mixture is firm, scoop out 1-tablespoon portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  5. Roll the truffles in the cocoa powder until completely coated.
  6. Refrigerate the truffles until ready to serve.
