Ingredients
- 4 apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Add the diced apples, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and water to the Instant Pot.
- Close the lid and set the valve to “sealing”.
- Press the “Manual” button and set the timer to 5 minutes.
- When the timer is finished, turn off the Instant Pot and allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes.
- Carefully open the lid and use a potato masher to mash the applesauce to your desired consistency.
- Serve warm or cold.
