This no-bake chocolate yule log is a show-stopping dessert perfect for the holiday season. Ingredients
- 1 package chocolate wafer cookies
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
- Mini pretzel sticks
- Green candy melts
- Cocoa powder
- Powdered sugar
Directions
- Crush the chocolate wafer cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
- Add the butter to the chocolate mixture and stir until completely melted and combined.
- Fold the chocolate mixture into the crushed cookies until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into a log shape on a piece of parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- To make the chocolate mushrooms, melt the green candy melts and dip the mini pretzel sticks in the melted candy. Allow to set.
- Dip the pretzel sticks in melted chocolate to create mushroom caps. Dust with cocoa powder for a realistic look.
