Ingredients
1 (6.5 ounce) can minced clams, drained
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix together the clams, onion, garlic, cream cheese, sour cream, parsley, oregano, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper.
Spread the mixture into a baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
Serve hot with crackers or chips.
Interesting Facts
This hot clam dip can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
It can also be served cold, if desired.
For a lighter version, you can use low-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
