Ingredients
- 2 cups rye flour

- 1 1/2 cups water
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together the rye flour, instant yeast, sea salt, caraway seeds, and brown sugar.
- Add the water and mix until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured counter and knead for 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and set aside to rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide the dough into two equal-sized balls.
- Shape each ball into a loaf and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing.
