Ingredients

  • 2 7 oz cans of tuna
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, add the tuna and flake with a fork.
  2. Add the bread crumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine.
  3. Form the mixture into 8 small cakes.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cakes and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the heat and serve.
