- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and honey.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and the milk to the creamed mixture. Fold in the apples.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
