- 2 cups mashed potatoes

- 1/4 cup buttermilk
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, butter, flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and white sugar.
- Mix until ingredients are fully combined.
- Pour in the buttermilk and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle.
- Heat a lightly greased griddle or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook each lefse for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
