Ingredients
- 3 lbs of organic grapes
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of yeast
- 1 gallon of water
Directions
- Wash the grapes and remove any stems or leaves.
- In a large bowl, crush the grapes with your hands until they are all broken up.
- Pour the crushed grapes into a large pot and add the sugar, yeast, and water.
- Stir the mixture until the sugar is dissolved.
- Cover the pot and let the mixture sit for 24 hours.
- Strain the mixture into a large container using a cheesecloth.
- Cover the container and let the mixture sit for another 24 hours.
- Strain the mixture a second time using a cheesecloth.
- Pour the mixture into bottles and cork them.
- Leave the bottles in a cool, dark place for three months.
