Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup warm water
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Mix until blended.
- Stir in the butter and warm water until the dough forms a ball.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
- Lightly grease a large bowl, place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat with oil. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Cover with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
