Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place pork ribs in a single layer in a baking dish.
  3. Rub vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper into the ribs. Bake for 30 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ground ginger, and Chinese five-spice powder. Pour over the ribs.
  5. Bake for an additional 30 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 10 minutes longer, or until ribs are tender.
