- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, rice, garlic, cumin, paprika, and salt. Mix well and shape into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the meatballs from the pot and set aside.
- Add the chicken broth, carrots, onion, celery, and tomatoes to the pot. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the meatballs and peas to the soup and simmer for an additional 10 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
