Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 cups gumdrops, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; stir into the batter until just blended. Fold in the sour cream, walnuts, and 1 cup of the gumdrops.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining gumdrops over the top.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
