Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lump crabmeat
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, ginger, green onions, celery, eggs, Dijon mustard, panko bread crumbs, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into 12 equal-sized cakes, about 1/2-inch thick.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the crab cakes in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
