Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (16 ounce) package lasagna noodles
- 1 (16 ounce) package cottage cheese
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large saucepan, brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic. Drain off the fat.
- Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package directions. Drain.
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer one third of the noodles, half of the cottage cheese, one third of the sauce, and one third of the Cheddar cheese.
- Repeat the layers, ending with the Cheddar cheese.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
