Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup Arborio rice
3 cups chicken broth

Directions
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.

Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
Add the shrimp and asparagus and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through and the asparagus is tender.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot.
