In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix together until evenly blended.
Form into a loaf in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour. Drain off fat halfway through baking.
Let the meatloaf cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
