Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix together until evenly blended.
  3. Form into a loaf in a greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 hour. Drain off fat halfway through baking.
  5. Let the meatloaf cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
