Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract, sour cream, flour and salt until combined.
Pour cream cheese mixture into prepared pan. Bake for 40 minutes.
In a medium bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold into cream cheese mixture. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving.
