Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup vegan milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the vegan butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder and mix until combined.
  4. Add the flour and mix until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Add the vegan milk and mix until combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 8x8-inch baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
