Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9x13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Beat in the flour, baking powder, salt and milk until batter is smooth.
- Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
