Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, pepper, egg and tomato sauce.
  3. Form into 1 1/2 inch meatballs and place on a greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until no pink remains in the center.
