Ingredients

  • 1 cup shelled edamame, cooked
  • 1/4 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package wonton wrappers

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the edamame, onion, bell pepper, olive oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are combined.
  2. Lay out the wonton wrappers and spoon 1 tablespoon of the edamame mixture into the center of each wrapper.
  3. Fold the wonton wrapper over the filling and press the edges together to seal. Make sure to remove any excess air pockets.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the wontons and cook until golden brown, flipping once, about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
