Ingredients
2 pounds of beef stew meat
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 large carrots, chopped
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic, minced

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix the beef, flour, and 1 teaspoon of salt together until combined.
In a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the beef and cook until the beef is browned, about 5 minutes.
Add the carrots, onion, garlic, and remaining teaspoon of salt. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Add the tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaves. Stir to combine.
Add the potatoes and stir to combine.
Cover the pot and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 60 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve hot.
