Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of chopped chives
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon of chopped dill
- 2 tablespoons of chopped bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons of chopped onion
- 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 small slices of cucumber
- 4 small slices of carrot
- 4 small slices of radish
Directions
- Fill a medium-sized pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Carefully place the eggs in the boiling water and let cook for 10 minutes.
- Remove the eggs from the boiling water and place in a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes.
- Carefully peel the eggs and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper and mix until combined.
- Add the chives, parsley, dill, bell pepper, onion, and cheese and mix until combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the eggs, making sure to cover the entire surface.
- Place the cucumber slices on one end of the egg to create the eyes and beak of the chick.
- Place the carrot slices on the other end of the egg to create the wings of the chick.
- Place the radish slices on the top of the egg to create the feet of the chick.
- Serve chilled.
