2 tablespoons garam masala
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons oil
6-8 burger buns
2-3 sliced onions
1-2 sliced tomatoes
1-2 green chili, finely chopped
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
2 tablespoons oil for frying
Directions
In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, garam masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef mixture and cook until the beef is browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
Toast the buns lightly in a toaster or oven.
In a separate pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and tomatoes and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the green chili, cilantro, chaat masala, red chili powder and cooked beef. Cook until the mixture is heated through, about 3 minutes.
