Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup broccoli slaw mix
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 12 small flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker and coat them with the sauce.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  4. In a bowl, mix broccoli slaw, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey. Set aside.
  5. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.
  6. Warm tortillas according to package instructions.
