Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb beef fillet
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the beef fillet with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat and sear the fillet on all sides until browned.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  5. Lay out the prosciutto slices on a sheet of plastic wrap to form a square large enough to wrap the beef fillet.
