Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Add chicken cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread marinated chicken cubes onto soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each cube.
- Grill skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Serve hot with couscous and tzatziki sauce on the side. Enjoy!
