Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 10-12 curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together cooked rice, yogurt, and milk until well combined.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. When they start to splutter, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chili, and curry leaves. Saute for a minute.
  3. Pour the tempering over the curd rice mixture and mix well. Add salt to taste.
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve chilled.
