Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups of peeled and cubed turnips
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Crumble the bacon into small pieces and set aside.
