Ingredients

  • 6 oranges
  • 6 chocolate chips
  • 12 small candy eyes
  • 6 small carrot pieces
  • 6 pretzel sticks
  • 12 small candy buttons
  • 6 toothpicks

Directions

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly and pat them dry.
  2. Cut a thin slice from the bottom of each orange to make them stable.
  3. Carefully cut off the top quarter of each orange to create a lid.
  4. Using a spoon or a melon baller, scoop out the pulp from inside the oranges. Set aside the pulp for later use.
  5. Carve a small hole on the front of each orange to create a mouth.
  6. Insert a toothpick into the bottom of a chocolate chip and stick it in the middle of each orange to create the snowman's nose.
  7. Attach two candy eyes above the nose using toothpicks.
  8. Take a small carrot piece and insert it into the hole you made for the mouth to create the snowman's carrot nose.
  9. Place the orange lids back on top of each orange.
  10. Break the pretzel sticks in half and insert them on the sides of each orange to create the snowman's arms.
  11. Use toothpicks to attach small candy buttons on the front of each orange to create the snowman's buttons.
  12. Place the reserved orange pulp in a blender and blend until smooth.
  13. Pour the blended orange pulp into each orange, filling them up to the top.
  14. Replace the lids and press them gently to secure.
  15. Place the orange snowmen in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow them to set.
  16. Serve the orange snowmen chilled and enjoy!
