Ingredients

  • 2 pounds blue crabs
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot, bring the water, wine, bay leaves, peppercorns, and Old Bay Seasoning to a boil.
  2. Add the crabs to the boiling liquid and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Add the butter, lemon, salt, and pepper and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the crabs from the pot and serve.
