Ingredients

  • 6 slices cooked bacon, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine bacon, cheese, onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add milk, flour, and baking powder and mix until combined.
  4. Spread bacon mixture in the bottom of the unbaked pie crust. Pour egg mixture over the top.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the center is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
