Ingredients
- 1 (17.3-ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Roll out puff pastry dough on a lightly floured surface. Place the dough in the prepared baking dish. Prick the bottom of the pastry with a fork.
- In a medium bowl, mix together apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread the apple mixture over the pastry.
- Cut the butter into small pieces and distribute over the top of the apple mixture.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown and apples are bubbly.
