Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugars, vinegar, and spices. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugars have dissolved and the mixture is bubbling.
  2. Add the honey, molasses, and orange juice. Continue to stir until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and add the butter and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before serving.
