Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 pound spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until the garlic is fragrant and lightly browned, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions.
- Drain the spaghetti and add it to the cream sauce. Toss to coat, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve garnished with parsley.
