Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups diced paneer
  • 2 cups pureed tomatoes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Directions

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell goes away.
  3. Add pureed tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the tomato puree thickens.
  4. Add paneer cubes and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add cream and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with naan or rice.
