Ingredients

  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Maple syrup, for serving

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, orange juice, cranberries, and cinnamon.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and swirl to coat.
  3. Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture, coating both sides. Place the dipped slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer the french toast to a plate and serve with maple syrup.
