- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the sour cream. Fold in the cream-style corn.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with the crunchy corn cereal. In a small bowl, combine the 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/3 cup sugar. Drizzle the mixture over the cereal.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
