Ingredients
- 1 cup espresso, freshly brewed and cooled
- 4 cups vodka
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup instant coffee granules
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup coffee beans, coarsely ground
Directions
- In a large glass jar or pitcher, combine the espresso, vodka, brown sugar, white sugar, instant coffee granules and vanilla extract.
- Stir until the sugars are dissolved.
- Add the ground coffee beans and stir to combine.
- Cover the jar or pitcher and let it infuse for 24 hours.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar or pitcher.
- Transfer the liqueur to clean bottles or jars and seal tightly.
- Store in a cool, dark place for up to one year.
