Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and salt until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  4. Add flour and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
