Ingredients
- 2 lbs flank or skirt steak
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes

- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
- Season the steak with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steak on both sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the steak to a slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onions, bell peppers, and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well.
- Pour the tomato mixture over the steak in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the meat is tender and easily shreddable.
