Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups cabbage, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, cabbage, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, melted butter, salt, and beaten egg to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
