Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast
¾ cup butter, softened
⅔ cup warm milk
2 large eggs
1½ cup light brown sugar
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
½ cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter, softened
Directions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the butter, milk, and eggs. Add the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Roll the dough out into a 12x18 inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter over the dough evenly.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the dough, leaving a ¼ inch border.
Roll the dough up lengthwise, pinch the seam to seal, and cut into 12 slices.
Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and flour. Brush the tops of the rolls with the mixture.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
