Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and egg. Add the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a waffle iron to medium-high heat. Grease lightly with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the waffle iron and spread it evenly. Sprinkle with the sugars and close the lid. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the waffle is golden brown and crisp.
