Ingredients
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of caraway seeds
- 1/2 cup of raisins
- 1/2 cup of walnuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup of sour milk or buttermilk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Stir in the caraway seeds, raisins, and walnuts.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
- Pour in the melted butter and the sour milk or buttermilk.

- Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the greased baking sheet.
