Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Unroll crescent rolls and place in a 9-inch square baking pan. Press dough into pan to form an even crust. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper over medium heat until beef is no longer pink. Drain fat.
  4. Stir in onion and tomato sauce; cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spread beef mixture over partially-baked crust.
  5. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Slice and serve hot.
